Tameeka Manley is an experienced Injury Management Consultant with a strong background in ergonomics, clinical exercise physiology, and occupational health. With a career spanning multiple sectors, Tameeka brings a unique blend of expertise to her current role, where she supports organizations in managing workplace injuries and promoting safer, healthier work environments.
Tameeka holds a Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology from the University of Western Australia (UWA), a qualification that has provided her with a solid foundation in the physiological aspects of injury prevention and rehabilitation. Over the past few years, Tameeka has built a well-rounded career by applying her clinical knowledge to real-world challenges in both the public and private sectors.
Prior to transitioning into injury management, Tameeka worked as an Ergonomics Consultant for 1.5 years, where she focused on addressing ergonomic and manual task-related challenges within the public sector. She successfully identified and implemented solutions that improved workplace safety and employee well-being, contributing to the reduction of musculoskeletal disorders and enhancing overall productivity.
Before her role in ergonomics, Tameeka gained valuable experience in the pre-employment health space. She managed pre-employment medical assessments, drug and alcohol testing, and conducted site visits for health checks. This experience honed her ability to assess and manage health risks before employees even step foot on a job site, further strengthening her comprehensive approach to injury prevention and management.
Now, as an Injury Management Consultant, Tameeka utilizes her extensive knowledge in ergonomics, clinical exercise physiology, and occupational health to guide organizations through the injury management process. Her focus is on providing proactive RTW strategies with a collaborative approach, that ensures injured employees receive the appropriate care, rehabilitation, and support for a safe return to work.
