Nick has 10+ years’ experience in Injury Management and RTW Services, within many jurisdictions including but not limited to; WorkCover WA, WorkSafe Victoria, WorkCover Tasmania, Comcare, self-insured and Life Insurance schemes.  Nick is an ESSA accredited Exercise Sport Scientist and Work, Health and Safey Professional who utilises his education and experience to promote and deliver injury prevention, early intervention and injury management providing the best results for all key stakeholders. Nick’s background also positively aids in promoting health and wellness, manual handling, injury prevention strategies and safe work habits/culture throughout the workplace.

The earlier years of Nick’s career, where he has the has most experience, is working within the workplace rehabilitation provider industry as an Area Manager completing; ergonomic assessments, manual/ergonomic handling training, job task analysis, suitable duties registers, early intervention rehabilitation, redeployment services, worksite assessments, pre-employment medical assessment, drug and alcohol testing and fitness for work assessments.  More recently Nick remains focused on early intervention injury management and RTW, facilitating this process for small-to-medium businesses.

With the above skillset and background Nick’s now focuses on managing and delivering key proactive injury management strategies at the best allied health professional standard.  Nick has a high regard for positive, safe, and sustainable recovery, with strategic outcome driven qualities surrounding proactivity, communication, and collaboration.  All to benefit both injured workers and employers.  Part of such servicing is to help educate industries with the best approach to injury management, RTW and workplace processes in prevention.

With Ross Tozer, Nick started RTC-IM Pty Ltd in July 2022 and remains involved as a Principal Consultant and Director within the business looking to continue to assist employers with their injury management systems and RTW process.
