Biography
Michelle possesses over 9 years of experience as a Physiotherapist. Her experience includes treating people with work-related injuries, sports injuries, and motor vehicle accidents. She subsequently transitioned to return-to-work (RTW) services, where she played a pivotal role in supporting injured workers through their rehabilitation journeys. Her responsibilities included workers’ compensation case management, pre-employment medical assessments, and delivering training sessions on manual handling and ergonomics for small to medium-sized groups.
Michelle then focused on working with children, adolescents, and adults with disabilities, under the National Disability Insurance Scheme. She has extensive experience treating individuals with complex neurological and physical disabilities and is skilled in prescribing mobility equipment to enhance patient safety and facilitate effective manual handling.
Michelle is enthusiastic about joining RTC-Injury Management, where she aims to utilise her diverse experience to help individuals safely return to work. She brings a holistic approach to rehabilitation, emphasising the importance of injury prevention to ensure not only the well-being of injured workers but also the success of employers. Additionally, Michelle is passionate about injury prevention and is currently pursuing a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety. She looks forward to applying her expanded knowledge into her practice to further benefit her clients.
