Biography

Craig has worked in the insurance industry for over 46 years commencing with SGIO in motor vehicle claims and then moving into workers compensation claims where he managed corporate mining clients. Craig then moved to SGIO’s Pilbara Regional Office as Assistant Manager, managing and underwriting all forms of insurance for the Northwest and managing the Office staff.

On returning to Perth Craig managed a Team specialising in managing workers compensation claims for small business clients. Craig then spent two years as a Settlements Officer in workers compensation claims looking after the Government based hospitals.

Craig moved on to Claims Management for Small Business clients managing 4 Claims Teams and 40 staff, then being promoted to State Manager, Workers Compensation Claims for CGU, this also included managing the Norther Territory, where Craig held this role for 8 years.

Craig then changed roles to become CGU’s Technical and Client Relationship Manager for workers compensation before resigning in 2018 and commenced on a contract basis for IAG assisting in centralising all their claims systems onto one platform and transitioning to a paperless system. 

 Craig then worked with Janus People providing claims management and return to work advice for an international company with exposure in all States of Australia for 2 years. Craig has completed audits of LGIS’s claims across Public Liability, Property and General, Workers Compensation and Motor Vehicle. I run my own business undertaking assisting employers with the management of their claims, and now continues this work with RTC.
